Vfb Stuttgart – 1899 Hoffenheim betting prediction

Posted by Bernard on December 19, 2009

Well, I have another bet from German Bundesliga seems to be the right one…

The weather in Stuttgart is awful, current temperature is -14, snow is falling, too. That’s no matter to me, and I honestly hope Stuttgart players too. Why do I bet on Stuttgart though they at the 15th league table place? The biggest reason is that I believe they have to win today. They managed just 1 win at home in the 1st round when they defeated Freiburg SC. Today is the last round before the Winter break and Vfb just has to win. They really do have a great team but their results in Bundesliga are awful. Still, they managed to go through in Champions League eight-final playing some great games. Last two Vfb’s league games ended draw, but Vfb was better team in both games. They’re playing a very solid football so I’m thinking that luck will their ally today. They deserved it for sure.

Vfb will play without a standard keeper Jens Lehmann, and midfielders Kuzmanović, Hitzlsperger and defender Hilbert. On the other hand, Hoffenheim will play without their goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand, defender Compper, midfielder Salihovic and striker Ba. Hildebrand, Comper and Ba all have a swine flu. Last season both mutual games ended draw. It was 3:3 in Stuttgart and 0:0 in Hoffenheim.  This is not a “banker” though I believe Stuttgart can go to the victory today. Plus, odds on Vfb win is quite nice for a single bet.

Betting verdict: Vfb Stuttgart to win @ 2,18 Centrebet

Final result: Vfb Stuttgart – 1899 Hoffenheim 3:1

Football predictions/ Happy birthday Borussia Dortmund

Posted by Bernard on December 19, 2009

Well, as title says, Borussia Dortmund celebrates today his 100th birthday! Congratulation! In the round 17 of German Bundesliga Championship they will meet SC Freiburg.

There is a couple of reasonse I believe Dortmund will win this game. First of al is that Borussia is playing in the best shape in whole League. They won 14 ot of possible 18 pts in last 6 matches. They won 3 from 4 last home games while their goalkeeper preserves a clean sheet in a 4 home matches. Second reason is that Freiburg is an old Borussia “customer”. Borussia won 6 from 8 mutual matches against them at Signal Iduna Park. And of course, third reason is they celebrating their 100th birthday today and I honestly believe Freiburg SC has nothing to look for this afternoon in Dortmund. Full stadium, festive atmosphere and of course, a win for Borussia.

Betting veridct: Borussia Dortmund to win @ 1,50 by Interwetten

Final result: Borussia Dortmund – SC Freiburg 1:0

German Bundesliga review of the Round 16

Posted by Bernard on December 12, 2009

Today has been played 6 games of round 16, 1 game has been played yesterday and last 2 will be play tomorrow.
In the joy of people around the World who made bets, after they trashed Juventus in a crucial Champions League game at Wednesday, Bayern Munchen did it again today in Bochum.
They crashed their host 5 goals to 1. It was all over in the first half when Bayern ensured 3:0 lead. In the second half Bayern scored two more goals for 5:0 lead after 56 minutes.
Bochum has scored a comfort goal 14 minutes before the end. Croatian striker Ivica Olic once again was the best man on the field, scoring two goals. Mario Gomez and Danijel Pranjic were also scorers for Bayern.
Bayern coach Louis van Gaal can be very satisfy with his team performances in last 4 games which they all won, as well as huge number of Bayern fans and people who made bet on Bayern Munchen.
Yesterdays failure of a league leader Bayer Leverkusen against Hertha in Berlin putted Bayern at the third place, just 2 points behind the Leverkusen.
Phenomenal game has been seen in Monchengladbach where Borussia defeated Hannover by 5 goals to 3. Spectators at Borussia Park stadium attended the game with incredible rarity.
Hannover players scored 3 own goals which is the absolute world record, I think. The wretchers were Fromlowitz, Djakpa and Haggui. Friend and Bradley were other Borussia scorers, while Ya with 2 and Schulz with 1 goal scored for the guests from Hannover.

Hamburger SV destroyed 1.FC Nurnberg at their home ground 4 goals by 0. HSV dominated the game in the second half scoring all 4 goals in a 27 minutes period, from 47nd to 74th minute. HSV scorers were Elia with 2 goals, Jansen and Torun. Spectators in Freiburg attended a boring game against 1.FC Koln which ended goalless while the game Hoffenheim – Eintracht Frankfurt ended 1:1 draw. Salihovic get a lead for the hosts from the penalty kick in 9th minute but Schwegler has scored for a draw in 61st minute for the guests.

Finally, in the derby of the week, Schalke managed to win against Werder in Bremen 2 goals by 0. Kevin Kuranyi in 47st and Czech player Jan Moravek in 72th minute brought a huge win to Schalke and their coach Felix Magath, former Werder Bremen coach. With this win Schalke jumped to the second place with just 1 point less then Leverkusen at the top of the table. Note that was the first loss for Werder Bremen after 15 games! Till today their one and only loss was in the round 1 when they defeated 2:3 by Eintracht Frankfurt, also at home ground. After this loss they fall down to the fourth place. For people who like betting this has been a very good day considering two clear away victories from Bayern and Hamburger SV.
Last two games, Mainz versus Stuttgart and Wolfsburg versus Dortmund are scheduled for tomorrow.

Here is the results and scorers:

Hertha Berlin – Bayer 04 Leverkusen 2:2 (Ramos 8,90/ Kroos 76, Kaplan 90)
Bochum – Bayern Munchen 1:5 ( Fuchs 76/ Gomez 23, Mavraj (o.g.)33, Olic 43,49, Pranjic 56)
Hoffenheim – Eintracht 1:1 ( Salihovic 9 (pen.)/ Schwegler 61)
Borussia M’Gladbach – Hannover 5:3 ( Fromlowitz (o.g.) 15, Friend 22, Djakpa (o.g.)58, Bradley 68, Haggui (o.g.) 90/ Ya 37,69, Schulz 87)
Nurnberg – HSV 0:4 ( Elia 47,74,Jansen 60, Torun 66)
Freiburg – Koln 0:0
Werder – Schalke 0:2 ( Kuranyi 47, Moravek 72)
